Live From the Grand Nationals

The National Catholic Forensics League is holding its Grand National Tournament this weekend in Appleton Wisconsin. The contests advancing to elimination rounds have been posted on the Fox Cities NCFL Website. Clearing from Wisconsin were:

Policy 193: Marquette HM
Policy 180: Neenah OO

We’ll add more names as they become available to us. Bill Batterman and Nick Bubb will be at Appleton West tomorrow - come by and get your picture taken!

  5. Appleton East’s Duo advanced to the final round, no idea what they placed though. I didn’t stick around for awards. If someone did, it would be fantastic if they could post this.

  8. It’s exciting to think that Appleton had an entry in the final round in their first year at CFL Nataionals, and that their name got to appear in an awards ceremony that more-or-less took place on their home turf. A huge congradulations is due to Deb, Mike, and especially the AE students.

  9. I was very impressed by the conduct, performance and kindness that I was shown by Mr. and Mrs. Traas, and Kyle and Emily this weekend.

    Also, I had a really great time watching the final round of duo and seeing Kyle and Emily do so well and be the only representative from Wisconsin in late outrounds.

    Congratulations, Appleton East, you deserve it!
